What a cycle is, and what your class costs.
One cycle is one assignment generated, or one submission graded. Grading is where most of the bill lands, so it counts.
That makes the arithmetic easy and worth doing before you subscribe. One assignment for a class of 30 costs 31 cycles: one to write it, and 30 to grade what comes back.
So Pro's 250 a month is about 8 of those assignments. Past the cap you keep going and pay $0.50 a cycle, which makes a ninth assignment for that class about $14.50. On Pro a submission that lands over the cap is graded and billed rather than refused, because a class stuck mid-submission is a lesson that did not happen.
Free works differently. It stops at its 10 cycle cap and never bills you anything, so there is no way to run up a surprise on it.
